Do It Scared: Liberation Draw

Knowing what you need to do doesn’t make doing it easier.

I’ve known for a while that I need to be doing this work on camera. That the conversations I’ve been having behind closed doors belong out in the open. That Life on the Psychic Spectrum, my YouTube channel and podcast, isn’t a someday project. It’s a now project I’ve been very successfully making into a someday project.

Knowing that hasn’t been the problem.

The camera has been the problem.

Not in a way that stops me cold. More in the way that generates excellent reasons why today isn’t the right day. The lighting isn’t ideal. I haven’t worked out exactly what I want to say. I should wait until I feel more settled into the format.

The version of me that feels completely ready hasn’t shown up yet. The one who knows exactly what she’s going to say and doesn’t care what anyone thinks. She’s not coming. That’s just not how this works.

So I decided to do something different. I’m telling you before I’m ready instead of after.

I’m launching Life on the Psychic Spectrum. It’s built for the conversations that keep surfacing behind closed doors and belong somewhere bigger. Honest talk about what this work actually is, what real intuition feels like, what it looks like to move through this kind of life with your eyes open and your integrity intact. The first episode goes up before July 4th. I’m committing to that right now, in writing.

Accountability from outside my own head works better than accountability inside it. That’s not a personal failing. It’s just true. The decision to tell you changed the math. Now the loop has to compete with the fact that you know.

That’s why I’m asking you to hold me to it.

And because accountability should go both ways, there’s something in it for you.
