Can a Psychic Reading Change?

“Will he come back?”
That’s the question. Or some version of it. Will she text me back. Is this job going to come through. When will things go back to the way they were before everything fell apart.
I hear it every week, in every shape it comes in. I’m Riki, a Professional Psychic Medium and Tarot Reader based in Edmond, Oklahoma, working with clients in person and virtually worldwide. And every week I have to say the same thing before I can answer anything else. The question, the way most people ask it, isn’t built to get you what you actually want.
Can a psychic reading change? Yes. A reading reflects the path you’re on the day it’s read, not every choice you or someone else makes after that. Change a decision next week and the path shifts with it. That’s not the reading being wrong. That’s free will still in motion.

Why the Yes or No Questions Fail You

A yes or no question hands the whole thing over. It asks me to hand you a verdict and send you home with it. Sit tight, he’s coming back in March. Don’t worry, the job comes through.
What you’re actually carrying into that question is bigger than a simple answer can hold. You’re not just wondering if he comes back. You’re wondering if you’re safe to stop hoping or trying. You’re wondering if you wasted years on someone who was never going to choose you. A yes or no answer skips straight past all of that and lands you back where you started the second the date doesn’t hold or the person doesn’t call.
“What do I need to understand about this so I can move through it clearly” is a different question. It doesn’t hand you a date. It hands you something to work with. One leaves you waiting. The other leaves you moving.

What I Won’t Promise You

I won’t tell you I can hand you a guaranteed date, a name, a certainty. I’ll say that in the first five minutes of a session.
That’s not me making excuses or covering myself. It’s the actual shape of psychic reading accuracy, and I’d rather you know it going in than feel misled walking out.

A Reading Can’t Freeze Time

Between today and whatever you’re asking about, you’re going to make choices. Small ones. What to say the next time he calls. Whether you bring up the thing that’s been sitting in your chest for weeks. Should you stay late at work or go home and have the conversation you’ve been avoiding.
The other person is doing the same thing, on their own timeline, with their own reasons, most of which you’ll never see.
What I’m reading is the path in front of you as it sits the day we talk. Not the path after every choice both of you make between now and whenever this resolves. Change one decision next Tuesday, yours or theirs, and the road’s already different than it was when we sat together. That’s not the reading missing something. That’s the ground moving while you’re still standing on it.
This is also where a lot of people get stuck without realizing it. If a reading gave you a fixed outcome, you’d have nothing left to do but wait for it. You’d hand the whole thing over to fate and stop making the choices that actually shape where this goes. Everyone is born with the same intuitive awareness I use in a reading. Most people have just been taught to override it and call it overthinking instead. I’m not interested in handing you an excuse to sit still. I’m interested in showing you where things sit today, so you can decide what you do with that information.

A Session From a Few Months Ago

A woman came to me going through a divorce. Kids involved. She wanted to know two things: was he coming back, and was he seeing anyone else.
Seeing and being intimate with someone are two different things, so I answered both separately. I told her I thought he was dating. I thought it was about validation, that female attention was an easy way to feel wanted while his marriage was falling apart around him. But I didn’t think he was intimate with anyone yet. Not at that point.
A week later she texted me. I’d gotten it wrong. She’d caught a woman leaving his house one morning, out the garage, right as he was heading out the door for work.
I didn’t get it wrong because I made it up. I read where things sat the day she sat across from me. In the week between that session and her text, he made choices. She made choices too, going through her own week, noticing what she noticed, finding out what she found out. Two people, both still moving, neither one frozen in place just because a reading happened on a Tuesday.

What a Reading Can Actually Give You

I can tell you where something sits the day you’re in front of me. What’s driving it underneath. What it’s likely to do if nothing about the situation changes. I can tell you what’s yours to decide and what isn’t, which is usually the part people have the hardest time separating on their own.
Most people come in gripping one fixed question, and they leave with an actual read on the situation, one they can act on instead of one they have to wait for.

The Deeper Question Underneath

If you’ve been asking the same thing over and over and the answer never quite settles you, that’s usually not the reading’s fault. That’s the question needing to change.
Ask what you need to understand instead of what you need confirmed, and the whole conversation opens up. You stop waiting on someone else’s next move and start looking at your own.

That shift, from waiting on an answer to working with one, is most of what a session with me actually is.
